EAST MEADOW, NY -- The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research was one of the sponsors of the 21st Annual Walk-Along for Lupus held recently at Eisenhower Park. The Lupus Alliance of LI/Q is a local non-profit that has been dedicated to helping those who live with lupus as well as their families for more than 60 years and each year the  Walk-Along for Lupus is its biggest and most successful event. This year’s walk has raised more than $27,000 so far. Manning the Feinstein Institute table at the walk on Oct. 19 were Jack Kern, Marlena Kern, Sanita Kandasami, and Cynthia Aranow.
