Geralyn M. Randazzo, RN, MS, NEA-BC
Ms. Randazzo works with the Northwell Health Solutions executive team to plan the strategy and deployment of all risk-based care management activities. She has designed and initiated a variety of care management programs including bundled payments, accountable care organization, health home and commercial insurance care management. In addition, Ms. Randazzo provides oversight to all Northwell Health inpatient facilities' case management and coordinates communication to both community- and hospital-based care managers.
Ms. Randazzo is a registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience in healthcare operations. Previously, she served as chief nursing officer, deputy executive director and executive director of Forest Hills Hospital. During her tenure at Forest Hills, Ms. Randazzo provided leadership and direction in managing large increases in both Emergency Department and inpatient volume. In addition, quality and regulatory reviews improved significantly; patient, provider and staff satisfaction rose; and financial performance significantly exceeded expectations.
Before joining Northwell Health, Ms. Randazzo served as vice president, nursing services, at Peninsula Hospital Center, and director, administrative systems and business operations, at Winthrop University Hospital. She began her career as a clinical registered nurse in the neurology/neurosurgery unit at Montefiore Medical Center–Weiler Division.
Ms. Randazzo has been president of both the Greater New York/Nassau/Suffolk Organization of Nurse Executives and the New York Organization of Nurse Executives (NYONE). She is a recipient of the NYONE Nursing Leadership Award.
Ms. Randazzo is also an active member of the Case Management Society of America. Ms. Randazzo received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, Riverdale, NY, and a Master of Science degree in nursing administration from Pace University, Pleasantville, NY.
