As executive director, David Seligman manages the day-to-day operations and strategic plans for the 284-bed hospital.
Mr. Seligman previously served as vice president of Northwell Health’s Imaging Services, overseeing administrative services for the health system’s vast network of ambulatory imaging centers and providing operational leadership for more than 225 radiologists covering more than 30 hospitals and ambulatory sites. He was also responsible for clinical quality, employee engagement, patient experience, financial performance and operational efficiency. Under his guidance, imaging volume grew to more than 2.2 million annual studies.
From 2014-2016, Mr. Seligman served as senior director of health system operations. In this role, he supported President and CEO Michael Dowling among other senior executives to manage organizational goals geared toward driving network growth, and improving clinical quality, patient experience, operational efficiency, employee engagement and financial performance. Prior to this role he was director of Northwell’s System Project Management Office.
Earlier in his career, he worked at NYU Langone Medical Center as senior manager of strategy, planning and business development, and at Lenox Hill Hospital for six years in progressive roles within clinical operations and human resources.
Mr. Seligman holds a bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College and an MBA from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business.
